The secret for pitching new products to investors

Grabbing the attention of your audience is crucial when pitching. Because our team has seen it firsthand, we know that there are lots of exciting and innovative projects that haven't quite achieved investment and most of the time that's down to communication.

Communication challenges

If you have a complex, technical process or product and struggle to communicate its USPs, investors might also fail to understand its benefits, and that will hamper your chances of investment.

On the other hand, you may still be offered an investment deal but because they feel it's higher risk, investors may ask for more reward in return (higher equity in your business).

CGI and digital twinning

To make the playing field nice and even you need to communicate your product or process clearly. How do you do that? By using Computer-generated Imagery (CGI) and digital twinning. These can be a really cost-effective way of communicating your final idea to any audience and they allow you to ensure the benefits of your product/process is totally understood.

Using this technology, we can contextualise everything. For example, let's say you have a project related to renewable energy and you can't prototype it because it's too expensive or because, ideally, it would be applied in a town or a village setting. Here at R3NDER, we can artificially create that entire setting for you and also demonstrate exactly how that process will work through a swift animation.

The future of communication

Particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, when we are finding it more challenging to have face-to-face meetings, and it's more convenient to meet with investors via video call, CGI and digital twinning are perfect tools. They allow you to show an accurate digital representation of your product, and your investor is far more likely to understand your product/process much better than a rough prototype or some flow charts. It’s a win, win!

If you want to create materials to help you communicate your idea, get in touch, and we will happily assist.
